Call queue needs a way to escape to voicemail.

There should be a way for people waiting in a call queue to escape to voicemail.  Ideally, escape to voicemail and a "callback when your place in line" feature would be great.

The exact feature you are referring to is in the Call Center package.  With the Call Queue group I have programmed, if the caller presses 0 they are directed to the operator extension.
