Desktop App: Call Screening not working on desktop app.

I would like to have the Call Screening option work when I answer the call on my cell phone. It only seem to work on the land line or app.

call screening works for calls forwarded to my land line and mobile phone (I do not use the RC mobile App) but not for calls I answer from the RC softphone on my desktop computer.

The product team is aware of this missing feature in RingCentral for Desktop.  

Please Open a Case and reference RC-52756, and go to Submit Feedback inside the Desktop App.

I have my user setting to require that callers are announced and I then have the option to pick up.  But, callers are not announced via the desktop app.  Any suggestions?

It's been months, and no one has said anything.  The old SoftPhone worked perfectly with respect to this.

If main extension has call screening turned on, when you use a soft phone it does not screen the call. You can reject and screen the voicemail and pickup, however would like to screen calls just like on the desk phone

Call Screening for Desktop Softphones do not work without a workaround. Call Screening does not work for mobile apps even with a workaround. This should be a native feature and one with value for all customers. It makes setup and configuration easier and avoids confusing workarounds. Please enable this feature to work for direct extensions, like extension #113, #115, etc. and for when a customer directly calls a user's direct # and also for phone system extensions, like push 1 for sales, push 2 for support, etc.

Yes, as a business, we also use the Desktop App and Call Screening is a must have feature as most of the time we answer on the app than on our desk phones

Hi,
We are also waiting for this feature to work for 8 months !!!
a ticket have been created with the support for many times.
This is very important to us... you have to do better than this to resolve this problem.

I am referring to Ring Central soft application,
running win 8.1 pro 64 bit
(call screening in not working for all extensions)

Aviv,   If you haven't opened a case, then please do so.  The more cases received, the higher priority this will become.
