Do other have issues with RC on their Android? I use my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy3). Part 1) When I receive a call while on the phone with a client, this incoming call automatically places my current call on hold without giving me a chance to ask them to hold. This is quite embarrassing. Is this more of my own phone setting?

Hello, sorry for the delay. This is a limitation on your phones, unfortunately - both Android and iOS "prioritize" native calls (i.e., calls that come in to the phone itself, vs. an app like RC, Skype or Viber). We did just add a feature to the Android app for outbound calls so RC can serve as your phone's native dialer, but incoming calls will behave as you describe. Sorry again.

Any update on this?  Very frustrating for me and the people on the other end of my RC call.

Using an i-Phone and each time we are on the business call and get another incoming call via the ring central app Ring Central automatically puts the current call on hold. This si very frustrating considering we are dealing with CEO's, CFO's, COO's.

I have the same problem. yes frustrating.  we should be able to decline the incoming call to the phone while on the RC call.

My solution was to call forward my iphone calls to my RC number. That way all incoming calls come to the app. The negative however is that the iPhone app doesn't seem to have a call waiting option so the call goes to voicemail everytime.

I just wanted to let you all now that this topic has been reviewed by our product team and although there's no ETA for a resolution, it is something they are aware of.  I understand there are certain limitations with the mobile apps for both iPhone and Android OS's.  We'll be sure to update this thread if/when there's a resolution. I'm switching the topic type from a Question to an Idea so that others can click the "like" button in support of a change.
