Caller ID for Direct Lines

I run a real estate company, and my sales team spends a lot of time on the phones following up with leads. Therefore, I have the sales team's extensions set to display their direct line as the caller ID on outbound calls. I wish there was a way that I could still set it to display my company name for their extensions! The admin team is set to show the main number, and the company name displays just fine.

Hi SALAMINO,

As long as the phone number is listed under your Company Phone Numbers, then any User should be able to set it as their Outbound Caller ID. Could you provide more information? I can make this post private so that you can share account specific details.

Hi there!

Specifically, I want the outbound caller ID to show my agent's direct lines, but also still display "RED REAL ESTATE." Currently, it will display their number, and then just say "Los Angeles, CA" instead of RED Real Estate on the receiving end.

Currently, the only way it displays our company name is if the outbound caller ID for the extension is set up show our main number (which is how I have it set up for our admin team).

Does that make sense?

Cheers.

Ah! I see what you're getting at. So, often times we don't have control over the outbound caller ID name for a direct dial number. However! Sometimes we can edit it on the back end. What you can do is open a support case and ask if the outbound caller ID for specific phone numbers can be changed to your Company Name (that is the only thing we can change it to). Hope we can help!

Thank you so much for your fast response! How do I go about opening a support case? Should I call in?

Cheers.

Sure thing! You can either call in or click this button to Open a Case :) I would suggest opening a case since it's not an urgent matter and will save you from having to call in
