Please indicate on the caller ID name set up that it will not automatically set the caller ID name on the system if its the 1st time registering the name. Just include the time frame on how long it takes before attached to the RingCentral number

RingCentral update's the Company Caller ID within 48 hours, however external carriers could take months (sometimes 3 months or longer) to pull those updates.  RingCentral cannot push external carriers to update those trunks, and they all update at different times. 

If you notice it's not updated from RingCentral to RingCentral, please open a web case and Support can check it or fix it if necessary.
