Does anyone else ever have customers report that they can't dial your phone #?  I'm having issues with people calling me and reporting that the "Number is not in service".  Typically coming from Verizon Cell #s.   Anyone?

This has been happening off and on for a year now.  Very annoying.

Hey Paul,

2 questions:

1) Is this when any number on your account is called?

2) Is it for any number that calls you, or only Verizon numbers?

Thanks,
Sam

#1 I only use my direct #.    #2. I don't know, but I've been asking those who report the issue to me (very few actually email me when there's a problem) and I don't know who else is having problems.  I just remember hearing from those that it is with Verizon.  I've reported this as a ticket both today and in the past, so there is history on this

#1.  (I only give out my direct #) which is the only one in use besides the main # which no one calls

Hey Paul,

I tested just now from a Tmobile number and a Verizon number and both went through.

My best guess is that the users trying to call you that are having an issue are located in the same region, and the 3rd party carrier they are calling from (example: verizon) is having a routing issue with this number, and I'd advise to have them call their carrier to see why calls aren't going through.

Thanks,
Sam

Why would I tell a PROSPECTIVE CLIENT to do this? It makes no sense to me and shows stupidity on my part to ask them to do this.     The region is New York City.

Why would they even want to be bothered by doing this?  They do not care why they can't reach me.  I was lucky enough for them to even tell me that there was a problem reaching me.

How many potential clients am I losing because the number doesn't go through?

As a Service Provider, it is your DUTY to ensure customers are getting their phone calls.  It is not the customer's responsibility to ensure this.

I've had that answer before and it tells me you guys haven't a clue on diagnosing this issue.

I regret renewing my phone number with you.

Hello Paul,

I've created case 06134522 on your behalf. If you could include the most recent call samples within the case notes that would be most helpful so we can investigate the issue.
