Calling international 800 numbers

We recently converted our phone system to RingCentral and only then did we find out that we cannot call international 800 numbers. Our company in Mexico has Global Office accounts but they cannot call 800 numbers inside Mexico. This seems like a very basic calling feature that should be included in a future release.

You have to enable international calling for these users.

Did you try that?

Let us know

Thanks

I wish it were that simple. 90% of our callers are set for international calling. Even me, as a super admin, cannot call Mexico 800 numbers.

Here is what we've tried calling:

At our Mexico facility:

Mexico Global Office User to US 800 number

001 800 463 3339 (FedEx Us number)

Sorry, but your call cannot be completed

México to México 800 number

01 800 123 2222 (Telmex Mexico support)

Not available service

US Facility:

Us to Us 800 number

1 800 463 3339 (FedEx Us number)

Outgoing call successfully

Us to Mexico 800 number

01 800 123 2222 (Telmex Mexico support)

Can ́t make calls from US phone to 800 Mexico number

So a valid Mexico 800 number to try is 800-123-2222 (Telmex Support).

We opened a ticket with RingCentral and it took them two weeks to come back and tell us that calling international toll free numbers is not support by them. They encouraged us to post an idea here so that it could possibly be seen and added to the road map.

Thanks!
