Calls from other extensions

Hello. When a call is transferred, you cannot tell if the call is from an outside party or that actual employee because the call transfer shows from that person and extension.

Any way to distinguish that..i.e. the call is from that employee or the call is a transferred call from that employee?

From what I see on my system (Polycom phones),  When using the Blind transfer type (default), the caller ID of the original caller (external) is passed to the party you are transferring to. When using the Consultative transfer type, it shows my caller ID to the party I'm transferring the call to.

If a fellow user "blind" transfers the caller, the caller's CLID will display.
If a fellow user does a "supervised" transfer, then the fellow user's CLID will display.
