Salesforce Integration: edit the softphone layout w/in Salesforce to include Call Type as opposed to Subject

Hello Corey,

Unfortunately the softphone layout for the RingCentral SalesForce app does not allow you to edit the call type field. It is defaulted to the type of call, inbound or outbound.

You can edit the "Subject" field for the call, but the call type cannot be changed within the layout so it is editable unfortunately. That is a great Idea for a feature to add to the layout of the softphone in future versions. The link below will show you how to create a feature request for this item.
