Currently, RingCentral does not offer toll-free conferencing numbers. We’ve gotten feedback that the TC number is long distance (w/ applicable charges) for people who are not using cell phones to call in. It would be great to include this toll-free feature on RingCentral's next product update.

There is an easy fix to this - what we did was created a toll-free number, then had it set to auto forward to one of the local numbers connected to the conference bridge.

I have not been able to accomplish this myself. I am asking Ring Central to add a 1 888 number to the list of numbers that they have assigned to this service but have not had any feedback from them yet.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Call conferencing local number not available in our area.

Your call conferencing only has local numbers that are generated with Ring Central.  There is no local number for our city in the list.  Is it possible to add a 1 888 number to the list for participants that are not located in any of the local number area.

For example:  Telephone service providers in Canada have both a local number and 1 888 number for the participants to be added to a conference call.
