Can I set up business hours? I also have an office on the Pacific cost and some remote users on the East Cost.

Note: You need to be an Account Administrator to perform this action.

Step 1:
Log in to your RingCentral online account.
Step 2: select Phone System.

Step 3:
Click Auto-Receptionist.

Step 4:

Select Company Hours.

Step 5:
Under Company Hours, you can select how all incoming calls will be handled.

  • 24 hours - Once this is selected, all incoming calls will be handled the same way all the time
  • Specify hours - Once this is selected, you can specify how incoming calls will be handled when business is closed

Step 6:
You may also set the Time Zone for your main business hours. Also select the Time Zone under "Regional Settings" on the prior screen.

Step 7:
Once changes have been made, click Save.

You have now customized your company business hours settings.

Note: some time zones don't work as expected. You may need to experiment and change them a couple times each year, especially if you're in a time zone that doesn't observe DST, because it will be forced upon you. (Proper time zones is a feature that may come in the future, but there's no ETA.)

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled specific hours.

I would like to set preferred hours that logged me on and made me primary call receiver without having to go into the app or website to change it.
