Can I silently dial into an ongoing call?

Hi All, 

I am wondering about a hypothetical Training Situation and if it would be possible with the Ring Central infrastructure.

An new Employee is taking their first call directly from a client. I as a manager would like to dial in and listen to their conversation from my phone silently so I can listen how my new employee is getting on.

Is this possible to do?

I do not think this feature exists, but you could either have the person taking the call record the call and you could listen and evaluate later.  If you need automatic recording you will need at least a premium service level.  On demand recording is available with all tiers by using *9

In that case, is it possible for the person taking the initial call to place the client on hold briefly, call the manager on another line and then merge the 2 calls so all 3 are on together by taking the client off hold when the manager has picked up?
