Change Default Dial-in number when Scheduling a Ring Central Meeting

We are primarily a US based company, however, we also have employees in other countries and recently added a UK employee to our Ring Central system. Everything is working correctly on the phone end. She has a UK number and can make and receive calls.

Her minor issue is that when she creates a meeting with Ring Central Meetings, the default dial-in number for the meeting is the US dial-in number and she has to manually overwrite the email with the UK dial-in number. Is this a limitation of us having a US based Ring Central system? I've noticed you can change the dial-in number when making a conference call in the Ring Central Desktop App but they would like to have the same function in the Ring Central for Meetings App when they create audio and video meetings.

Has she looked at customizing her RingCentral Meeting ID? It might be a good solution in the meantime :)

Hi Saadet,

Do you mind clarifying how customizing her RingCentral Meeting ID would benefit her? I understand it might help when connecting with other employees who use Ring Central. However, this issue is mostly affecting outside participants who are dialing into Ring Central meetings from office phones or cell phones. Whenever she creates a RingCentral Meeting, the invite email by default includes a US dial-in number which doesn't make much sense when they're all based in the UK.

We're looking to have a feature in RingCentral Meetings that lets you change the default dial-in number when you create the Meeting, much like in the RingCentral Desktop app where you can change the dial-in number when you set up a conference call.

Hi Vincent, my apologies I misread what you were getting at! 

So we are working on creating customization for the RingCentral Meetings Invitation Email Template. Under her extension in the online portal she can add the UK number so that all of her RingCentral Meetings invites include that UK number. Below are screen shots of making this change from her own login. I hope that it helps in the meantime :)

I have the same issue, and am trying to replicate this instruction, adding local dial-in numbers over-and-above what appears to be default content, but when sending through a preview email it isn't including the content I've added in "More content here." 

Any suggestions?

Hmmm....did you verify that you pressed the Save button when you edited your email template? Because once saved, the More Content Here area will stay the same until you change it again.

I logged into your account and didn't see anything saved there :/

However, below you can see my own settings - last time I updated the information in the box was over a month ago. It is still there and when I send a preview email it shows it at the very end.

I haven't changed any of the desired text to be appended, and when I log in, the template still shows the additional text I added, when navigating to Settings->Meetings->Edit. (Originally added a few weeks back, when I first commented on this issue.)

I also tried deleting/saving/adding/saving, but the issue persists: No additional text is being appended to the RingCentral calendar invite. Perhaps this is a bug unique to my account?

That is super weird! I would definitely suggest that you open a case so we can gather HAR logs and a few other pieces of information.
