Would be grate to have all phone numbers on the web pages highlighted, and when you click on it it would start dialing into the application, especially for a web page power.dat.com

We are doing hundreds of calls off the web pages, would be great to start a call just with one click of a mouse! Great addition to a desktop application!

Hi all, this is actually a newer feature on our RingCentral for Google extension. You can click on any phone number in any page if you are using the Google Chrome web browser. You can download and find more details of what the extension does on the RingCentral for Google page and you can view the user guide PDF on our site.

I can confirm what Luke stated. I am currently using the RingCentral for Google Chrome extension and you can click to dial any phone number on the page.

I've tried that app for Google Chrome and can tell that application doesn't work correctly some of the time. Animated addition that appears on the side of the number, when you put mouse on top, appears sometimes unreachable - not showing up. Sometimes it appears lower then the phone number you need, and when you trying to reach that animation to start a call it disappears. That means you can't start the call. My suggestion would be to downgrade it, to start the call by clicking on highlighted phone number without any additional animation.

Thank you.

I can see that Viktor. That is what's "fun" about coding. Depending on where the phone number renders on the page I could definitely see it causing issues with the display of RingCentral's extension.

Sounds like some logic needs to be built in to the extension to move the "pop up" so that it appears in another location other than just the right side of the number. If there is no room on the right side then popup on the left, bottom or top.

But it is difficult to code this to work for every situation but a good programming team can eliminate the majority of the situations.

Good Luck Guys!

Hi Voloshin,

A click-to-call feature really does make thing easier. You may also want to check out Tenfold. It's a CTI that you can integrate with RingCentral. It has the click-to-call feature you're looking for and a lot of other features that can help you like Social Media Integration, Automatic Call Logging, and Gamification. Check out the website at www.tenfold.com to learn more.

Hope this helps!
