Click to dial number in voicemail transcription/details in RingCentral app

US - Medical Office
In the RingCentral app, under voicemail details/transcription, there is not an option to click to dial a number left in the voicemail that may be different from the caller ID that left the message. In our case, often the hospital will call for one of our physicians from a main phone number/unit phone number and then leave the direct phone number to the corresponding nurse in the voicemail. If there is no click to dial in the transcription in the app, the physician must write the number down and then dial it manually. We received dozens of physician pages daily for each of our four physicians and the lack of this feature is actually creating more work for them instead of streamlining the work load. This was one of the major reasons we chose RingCentral was so that we could get rid of an answering service that types up and sends text messages and do everything for our business communications through one company/one app. Case #5254019

Can't you highlight the number and press the hotkey defined in settings to place the call back?  Default on my Mac desktop app is F6.  Look under settings > hotkeys in your desktop app to see what it is for you.

Needing this for the iPhone and Android apps

I see.  In that case, at least on iPhone I understand that it is up to the phone app to scrape numbers and make them dialable.  I don't have a premium account with transcription, but do you see the transcription in the RC app?  Is there an option to send the transcription as SMS or email?  If there is, it may be a workaround because at least on iPhone the mail and messages app should recognize the number and make it dialable.

Although, now that I think it through even that might not work for you because then you call from the cell phone and not the RC app.  I wonder if callkit on iphone and the equivalent for android even allow that ability to link outbound call to a non native dialer app?

In the voicemail transcription on the desktop app and iPhone/Android apps it does not scrape the number to make it dialable. If you get an email notification it seems to work, at least on iPhone; however, that requires the physicians to get 2 notifications - one in RC app and one email - and then they have to exit the RC app and open their email. Sounds a little petty but when you are getting dozens of these daily on top of their other work load it is a nuisance, especially in the middle of the night when you are fast asleep.
