Hi,

We are rolling out Glip to our users using our rollout software. Right now we were given the .MSI file for both 32 and 64 bit windows. As with Ring Central Meetings and softphone there is one single installer; we were wondering if there is or one can be created that will install on both versions. We don't want the install to error out on a user.

Hi Marc,

64 bit machines can run 32 bit apps, but not vice versa. So, if you want to stick with one version for all users, use the 32 bit version.

Another option would be to just have your users run the web based version from www.glip.com and they don't have to install anything.

Mike.

Hi Mike,

Understood. I just wanted to see if it was out there. I had planned to push the 32 bit version out to everyone anyway for that compatibility reason.

Thanks again!
