We wanted to know if/when therewill be a system in place that would allow us to use account codes.  Inour previous Mitel phone system we had it setup so that an account code was requiredto make phone calls to any outside parties.

For example, say we had a job called ACME Tower and it had an internal job number of2345 and you wanted to call a contractor about it.  You’d have to enter2345  9  212-302-9060 (account code – 9 – phone number).  Whilethis was a bit cumbersome, once you got accustomed to entering the code it wasfine.  This allowed us to capture and bill our clients for those calls. Not too many construction firms do it but a lot of law firms do.

We too had this feature when we were with Mitel.  If your company is set up to "Bill by the Hour" this is a very useful feature indeed to track billable hours per account code. Unfortunately, I do not think RingCentral would improvise this feature unless enough customers voiced their support.  I suggest that if you can use this feature in your office that you "LIKE" this suggestion in the upper right corner to voice your support.  This might get RingCentral's attention to code this feature in.
