Contacts in SoftPhone to display Mobile number

When a user enters in their mobile number in the "User Details" area of their RC Settings. I would like to option to have that displayed in the company Address book when people use the soft phone.

I've asked support about this, and whilst it took a few days, they came back with "that functionality doesn't exist" and closed my ticket without any further interaction.

Sorry, they did not provide an explanation. Our product team receives hundreds of idea and feature requests every month. Our product team has to prioritize all the requests based on a variety of criteria and not all requests can be implemented.

Thanks for the explanation.  That being said, if the desktop app already displays 1 contact number, is it really that difficult to show another?  There's plenty of room on that contact page :p

I'm sure it's possible and although I'm not a programmer, assume it's probably not extremely difficult.  As I mentioned above, the product team receives a lot of different requests. They have to go through some pretty detailed discussion and prioritization processes and decide what all features & changes to make in the best interest of the customer base.  One of many things they must consider is the overall demand before allocating time and resources. This Community site is one method of collecting data and measuring interest.  This is a fairly new topic, and only has two "likes" at this point.  That doesn't mean it will never happen, but it definitely helps to have a higher level of interest from more people.  

The best thing to do, (for anyone interested) is to click the "like" button at the top of this page and add comments to the thread. The more activity the better!

Seems like such a no-brainer. I just went through adding mobile numbers for all my employees, but it isn't visible in the app. Frustrating, like not being able to just view the Global Address List in your own contacts in Exchange.

That's why I'm asking that type of setup or configuration should be "in the Cloud" and all the desktop and mobile app could get it from there, from one unified resource...

The softphone should definitely display the same information that is listed in the Company Contacts directory.
