We used a paid service with Speakeasy (which by the way is going out of business this week) to do our conference calls. The main reason we used them was because participants were able to join a scheduled call without entering an access pin to join the call. Another feature was that you were able to set up the system to call you when the scheduled conference call begins (which by the way helped as a reminder to get on the call when your working on something else). Most people are out on the road and reality no one wants to enter a 1 to 7 digit pin when you call in. Most people don't even want to go through an operating service when calling into any 1-800 number ( there's just no time when you're busy). I would suggest giving your customers the option of enabling or disabling an access pin for participants, and also allowing admin/users to register any phone number they can dial from without entering a pin. A "no pin" access feature in audio conference calling is what most people want and look for.

Hi Denise,

Just letting you know that the ability to enter a converence without a pin is already available for Apple/iOS devices.  Unfortunately, there are some differences in the iOS and Android operating systems that make implementation of certain features more or less complicated on the two OSs.

I can't promise an ETA for this on Android devices but our product team has been working on this.
