How to do I save new contacts as "Company" contacts? Currently all new contacts I create are stored as "Personal" contacts. Is there a way to pick where a new contact gets stored?

Hello Everyone,

I am a RingCentral Product Manager and I wanted to formally introduce you all to our new team messaging & collaboration product - Glip.

Glip offers team chat with integrated calling, video conferencing,  file sharing, notes, task management, calendar, and integrates with other cloud apps like Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Asana, JIRA, Github, and more.

If you go to and login with your RingCentral credentials (via the sign in page) you will not only be able to access and communicate with all of your company contacts from the RingCentral phone directory, but also now you can add and communicate & collaborate with EXTERNAL contacts all in the same product and team chats. All you need to do is type in their email address in the People page or when setting up a new team.

Over time we will roll out even tighter integration between Glip and RingCentral. We have an exciting roadmap that we can wait to share with you as we deliver over time.

By the way, Glip comes at no additional charge to all RingCentral Office customers.

Feel free to direct any questions about Glip to
