The more meetings I attend on my iPad (iPad2 IOS 9.3.5 is the supported version), the more memory/storage the RingCentral Meetings application consumes. It eventually consumes all available memory which diminishes call quality (buzzing / beeping during conversations) and brings the iPad to a slow crawl.
I've watched memory/storage consumption slowly increase from the base minimum at installation to over 5.5GB of storage in a matter of 2 weeks! Clearly there is a memory leak or bad cache management.
The only way to free up storage is to deinstall the application and then reinstall it. That's just plain silly.
The other thing that makes no sense is that the IOS application records a meeting when you navigate away from the application. Where does this meeting get recorded to? You can't manage IF you want the meeting recorded. You can access where the meeting was recorded. You can't delete the recorded meeting. It just consumes your storage/memory on you IOS device.
I did open a case on this, 07819137, and was told to post my issue here as Developers read this forum. I've no idea if that is true, but a fix is needed!
Anybody else ever look at their IOS storage to see how much is being consumed by RingCentral Meetings? Do you have this problem too? If so, what type of IOS device do you have?
Crossing my fingers!
