Critical feature needed - enable attendees to use computer audio when joining Meeting through browser/web client

We are a small US-based organization with a few users. We often use RingCentral Meetings for video calls between employees and have little issue since they all have the desktop applications downloaded.

However, we are increasingly setting up video conferences with external collaborators. To join a RC Meeting, any attendees must either:
  1. Download the RC or RC Meeting desktop applications or
  2. Join by browser to join our Meeting.
Many external collaborators do not want (or are not permitted) to download the RC software, so they join by browser. However, they are then limited to video-only through their computer. In order to join audio, they must call in with their phone.

We would really like to see an added feature that enables attendees joining by browser to use their computer audio AND video when joining a Meeting.

This feature is already available from Webex & Zoom.

My company would also use this to provide system demonstrations  so the attendees could join without downloading the RC Meetings client and FULLY  join via only a web browser.

I had a similar experience when presenting.  I logged into my RingCentral account online> then navigated to Settings and then Meetings.  Scrolled down to In Meeting - Advanced and click the switch to enable the join from your browser link. 
The external user can participate with video and audio (whether you're on a Mac or Windows machine, you'd want to check your mic and speaker settings), but they are unable to present. 
BTW - The browsers that we've recommended are Firefox, Chrome, and surprisingly Microsoft's latest version of Edge.

That is correct. If I enable the "Join From Browser", a link is included in future RC Meeting invitations. By clicking that link, it allow participants to bypass the RingCentral application download process, and join a Meeting (show up as a participant) directly from their browser. That is not my issue.

I am not sure what you mean when you say they can "participate with video & audio" yet they are  "unable to present." But we tested a number of browsers and found the same issue with each of them - when we have someone join a Meeting from their browser, they can technically join the Meeting (as described above). But then RC only allows them to "participate" in video (i.e. see camera feeds of others and share their camera feed) through their browser. If they want to participate in audio (i.e. hear others and be heard by others), they are required to call in/join audio by phone. That is my issue.

In other words, when someone gets a RC Meeting invitation and wants to join from their browser (because they either do not want or are unable to download the RC desktop software), they should be have the ability to join & fully participate in audio & video in a Meeting  through the browser alone. Meaning that they can see & hear others AND be seen & heard by others, just as if they were joining by the desktop application. And not be forced to "Join by phone" for audio participation.

This is already a feature already available on Zoom, Webex, and even FB Live. Maybe there's still a setting I have off, but it seems there are others on the RC Community site who have had the same request for years.
