custom rule error - Forwarding phone number cannot be the same as your account number

I would like to set a custom rule where calls from a specific number / caller ID always go to voicemail.

Whenever I set this rule up, after clicking "save", I get an error message

"Forwarding phone number cannot be the same as your account number or any additional numbers. Please go to Call Handling and Forwarding and remove the number (my office number xxx-xxx-xxxx)"

 I'm not clear what is going on here or how to fix it.

you could create a messages only extension and direct the call to that.
