Incoming calls forwarded directly to cell takes upwards of 11+ seconds.  I lose many calls as a result.  RC doesnt care and cant be bothered to check this out.  Do any other users out there experience this type of delay?

calling cell directly yields the normal <3 seconds but something is holding the calls in RC before it transfer to cell.  RC blames cell service.

Need help from the RC / VOIP community.

Under Call Handling; is this setting off?

Yes, it is off.  Seems a general issue rather than number specific as I have 4 numbers with RC

Just tested mine and it rang without the delay you're experiencing.  I have an iPhone on Verizon.  You're right, there may be something going on somewhere.  My suggestion would be to test using another phone number (anything other than your cell phone number).  If it rings that number without the delay, then the focus would be your cell phone.  If it rings that number with the delay, then the focus has to be with the programming - make sense?

I have tried forwarding to a different cell and cell provider ... still delays.  Thanks for the idea.  I'll have to continue badgering RC support...........

OK, good luck.  You may also want to check your Screening, Greeting & Hold Music settings to make sure nothing is programmed there, which would delay the call.

Hello BOARD,

I don't see any recent cases open under your account regarding this issue. We'd be more than happy to look into it! Please open up a case and include the following information in the case notes:

1) Cell Carrier
2) Approximately when you started noticing this issue
3) Call Samples - please ensure that they are no older than 24 hours
4) And feel free to include screenshots of your current Call Handling configuration

Reply back here with the case number so I can keep an eye on it :)

I know what yopu mean in this case...But i have come to notice that when im in one spot, calls come thru very quickly. Now if Im traveling or moving around it may take a little time to catch up causing the 3 second delay
