Feature Suggestion: Add a Speakerphone button on the Desktop / Outlook Softphone that toggles between a headset and the computer speakers. Most troublesome is the Outlook Add In that can ONLY be configured to one system output device.
Need a single toggle button on the Dial Pad screen allowing user to QUICKLY switch between a headset and local hardware both before and during a call. Having to fumble through the settings menu is not ideal but a work around.
I also agree. We are evaluating RingCentral as an option to replace our aging PBX, and having click more than once and then fumble around in settings to change both microphone and speaker is not an option or a lot of my users. And to add to that, you have to remember to change it back when you are finished! I would think this would be a pretty simple fix.
