Desktop App: Color Scheme Issues

One of my coworkers & I are testing out the softphone in consideration of switching everybody from desk phones to the desktop app.  One of the main issues right off the bat, is that some of the text is difficult to pick up on.  This isn't due to the size of the text, but purely the color scheme.  Using light grey text on a white background is just ridiculous.  In an industry where we can get a rush of calls at any minute, I want to be able to see who's calling.  See the image below:



As you can see, what stands out the most is "WIRELESS CALLER".  In cases like these, I need to be able to then check the phone number itself.  You can barely see that there's a number beneath there because of the color of the font.  And this color is not just being used in call notifications.



When typing a new text message, you've got a huge, white, empty window with this at the bottom.  Bottom line, any font with this color anywhere in this app needs to get changed.  Personally, I think the addition of several color schemes to pick & choose from would be a great feature.

The very light grey text on the white background of the screens is difficult to read. Is there some way to change the font of the text to enlarge it, darken it or otherwise increase the contrast so it is easier to read. A perfect example is on the login screen where the box around the password field cannot e seen without clicking around until you accidentally find it.

We have several user complaints for this exact same issue -   wondering why RingCentral has not done this, just changing the text color to Black would fix it in the UI -   this is not rocket science.
