Desktop App: How to mange 2 companies on my Softphone?

I own two companies with 2 distinct RC account and numbers. I mainly work at one location/company using the softphone for Mac, but often need to call people for Company #2 from the Company #1 location and number.

 How can I set my Caller ID to look like I am calling from the Company 2#?

You will need to logout of your softphone for Company #1, deauthorize the PC (under Phones & Numbers --> Softphone), and login to Company #2.   The Caller ID number will be account dependent.  You cannot set a Caller ID for a number not on your account, or on another account or extension).

THAT's CRAZY! Sorry, i am just baffled that we can't have two apps on our phones or two softphones on computers or multiple.

This is a really cumbersome way to handle the process, it would seem to be a real Cloud app - there should be the ability to have 2 discrete ID's on a device and be able to switch IDs via just a simple login.   The idea is to make the "Technology Work For You"  not you work to make the technology work.
