It would be helpful if there is a directory option for callers to choose instead of just leaving a message. Therefore, the callers can choose if they want to leave a message or to transfer to other departments with a directory guide.

You could create that using IVR-multi level.

Thank you for the comment.
We tried the IVR and it only work before the phone ring.
But, what we want is after the phone ring and no one pick up the phone. Instead of going to the message box directly, caller can choose leave a message or transfer to other departments.
If the IVR can be used in that case that will be great too.

Is this for a Call Queue or for individual DID numbers?

What I got from your post is that this was for a non Call Queue.  So, what I was saying is, instead of having the call go to the user's VM, you have the caller go to an IVR group.  There you can say press 1 for sales, 2 for parts, 3 for spell by name directory... etc.  I have a client who we built this for and it works for them.

If you want this is a call Queue scenario, then put that recording in the interrupt message and that should do the same thing.

Hello Danno, Thank you very much. We created a Call Queue. And we try to figure out if there are anyway to allow caller choose to leave message or route back to the main directory if we missed a call.
We called ring center and they told me it has not developed yet. And suggest me to post it here. And see if other users will need that and vote for it. I am appreciate for your time to share you experience with me.

Can you put in key strokes and tell them in an on hold message to press * or # to either go back to menu or leave a message?
