Dial By Name Directory Delay

There is consistently about an 8 second delay on the dial by name directory once you type in the first 3 letters of the desired name.  We have had customers that complain this feature isn't working due to it going "silent".  Please add an announcement that the caller please hold while the name is being looked up or another fix to improve this issue on the next update.  Impatient folks are afoot! Thank you!

I agree - or update the greeting instructing callers to dial a # after spelling the name to speed it up.  The same as you have with the VM recording "Please enter your PIN and then press #".

I agree- I am having the same problem. Customers are saying they can't reach me and getting frustrated.

We are having the same issue as well.  This is really frustrating and needs to be addressed asap.
We've had our customers complain to us about it as well thinking that the system hung up on them.

Please fix.

I did not realize that this was happening, and I wholeheartedly agree that it needs to be fixed.

My gosh, how difficult could it be for RingCentral to do as Danno suggested and simply revise the greeting to instruct callers to dial a # after spelling the name? That would take, what, fifteen minutes of one RingCentral employee's time?

Same issue.  If you press "#", the switch to the extension happens immediately.  If you do not press "#", the delay is close to 10 seconds.  Simple solution would be for Ring Central to change the greeting, instructing users to hit "#".  Otherwise, allow Ring Central customers the option to record their own greeting for the Dial by Name feature.

Same issue. Please add the press # when finished during the greeting or let us create our own greeting for this.
