Disable Lines 3-5, Cisco SPA525G

We use Cisco SPA525G phones throughout our office, RingCentral defaults to activating all 5 lines on the phone.  I want to use the buttons for lines 3, 4, & 5, as speed dials as we do not need those lines.

I go into the Phone Admin console through the IP, disable the lines, then set the speed dials on the phone.  Within 15 minutes RingCentral re-provisions the phone automatically and wipes out the speed dials while re-activating the lines.

Is there a way to do this so I don't lose the speed dial buttons?

Has anyone assisted you with this?

No, however, I found another article that said I can stop it by turning off auto-provisioning.  I did that and so far it's ok, are you aware of any other impact there might be by turning the feature off?

I would not turn off auto provisioning.  If you want just the first 2 lines to be available and the other 3 to be used as lines to monitor or to call pick up you have to enable the presence feature.  This is how I would do it.  this way you have control of the remaining lines on that phone.

thank you
