Door Entry System Configuration

Hello All,
We have recently made the decision to implement a door entry system with the following functions:
- Strictly voice no video
- Guest rings the intercom > intercom dials extension to guards desk phone > Guard approves entry > enters specified code on phone > door opens

What would be the steps to take when assigning a number to the entry intercom?
- I know I will need to create an extension for the intercom itself, but not certain where to program the entry code that triggers the strike to open.
- I am assuming this will be done on the SIP interface? I believe our vendor will be purchasing the Viking E-30-IP

After scouring the forums, I recommended that we use cyberdata or algo, based on the success stories i have found on here, however those systems didnt meet the "aesthetic" value of our execs. So they chose the viking platform.

If anyone can recommend any docs, insights or past experiences I am all ears, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jeremy,

If the Viking platform has an IP endpoint and is SIP capable, it's likely to work, but RingCentral does not offer support for it, so we don't have any documentation available.

I hope you have more luck hearing from our other community members!
