We would like the ability to see the status of user extensions at a glance in the desktop and mobile versions of the Ring Central applications.  This could be further expanded to extension groups to help organize.  As far as the interface goes just a simple list with Name/Ext./Status would suffice.  This would greatly help with incoming calls to see who is available to take the call.

Suggested Status
  1. Idle
  2. Talking
  3. Ringing(The ability to disable this status would be helpful, talking status should take priority)
  4. Do not Disturb
  5. Offline

Is this just in RingCentral Phone or does it exist in the the new RingCentral application? We do not use RingCentral Phone being as we were informed everything was being consolidated into 1 application and did not want to confuse our users with multiple applications.

Hey Jesse, I wanted to let you know that our Product Team is aware of this, and other, feature gaps. They're working on closing those gaps next year for the desktop app. Right now they're focusing on the Mobile applications.

It is only in RingCentral Phone desktop version.  Not the new RingCentral App which was formerly known as Glip.    They have not added this monitoring feature or many of the other features from RingCentral Phone Desktop (formerly known as RingCentral Desktop For WIndows)

This is precisely one of the reasons we are not adopting the new app but primarily because the new app has not enough Security Management features for Enterprise use.

Thank you Cecile; it is still early enough in our implementation that I will take another look at RingCentral Phone.  Your response cleared up several questions I had.  Looks like we may be missing out on several features that have yet to be implemented in RCApp.
