It is always the same even though the passcode you change works to get into the bridge. It essentially has 2 ways to get into the bridge and 1 that cannot be changed.

The requirement is to keep unauthorized people out of a conference call they were not invited to be in. Even if I change the code, the meeting audio passcode that cannot be changed still allows them into the meeting. It is NOT secure once someone knows the pin to get into the meeting and cannot be changed.

When you change the Meeting Password, it does change the phone bridge password too. To do this, you have to Edit the meeting, "Save" the new Meeting password, which will create a new Meeting invite that will have the new passwords. The older invites will have to be cancelled and these new ones sent out to the participants.
The Meeting password can accept alphanumeric characters, and this gets coded into a numeric phone password (since people can only key in numbers on the phone). The 2 passwords will be different.
