  1. Account type  (U.S.)
  2. A brief description of the business
We are a Home Care service provider
  1. A high level description of the product or feature being requested
For management and monitoring purpose, we need a notification for all call recording done in the shared line, so that our supervisor or QA can listen to the recording.  Now there is no notification feature for recording done in shared line, and only the administrator can search for them in the call log.
It is also desirable if the notification will provide a link to the recording so that the email recipient can access the recording directly without any admin rights
  1. A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature
We have call recording for our main line number which is a shared line, so any user in the pool will pick up the incoming calls.  All these incoming calls are recorded.  However, there is no notification whatsoever now.  The only mean to access those recording is the Administrator to search in the call log.  We have a 3rd party call quality QA person who doesn't have an account in RingCentral.  Thus, we want the system to be able send out an email to that outside person notifying there is a new recording, and provide an URL to the recording.  So the external QA person can access the recording without a RingCentral account and listen to the recording.
  1. Benefit of such feature
The email notification is essential for any recording, especially for companies that do recording to monitor calls.
  1. Include any related case number if applicable
Nil
  1. Number of Users and/or Digital Lines
11 users

Will HIPAA compliance allow just anyone without a pass code to listen to recordings?

OK, I'm willing to add the QA as a general user and have him/her sign all the NDA.  The key point is that the system don't generate notifications.
