Based in US financial securities Markets. Financial services oversight by FINRA and SEC. In 2019 these regulatory bodies will be monitoring all texting activity by Financial advisors. It would be most useful if RingCentral could provide email notiifcation for all outgoing texting activity along with the complete content of the text as it does now with incoming texting notification activity along with the entire content of the text.
Compliance continually monitors email activity, so monitoring of texting will be covered using RingCentral, otherwise, advisors will be forced to cancell their subscription and replace it with a Broker dealer approved texting tool.
Scenario:
-Advisor sends a text to a prospect/client, then the prospect/client responds to the original text. The entire communication should be reflected in the email notification of the text.
This will allow Securities industry RingCentral users to continu using this app, otherwise they would have to cancell their subscription and use only broker dealer approved technology.

This sounds like a good use case for the archiving feature.  If you are audited you would be able to present all text communication records over any time period.

Check out RingCentral Partner ThetaLake, this may be more than you are looking for but their demo looked promising in a much more complete way; much more than just archived text messaging. https://thetalake.com/

Anymore on this.  I need to make sure we archive GLIP messages in a 17a-4, FINRA compliant and searchable format.  Anyone aware of some good options?
