Fix bug in Personal Meeting ID ASAP!

The personal meeting ID does NOT work with Zoom but the unique meeting IDs generated by Ring Central do work in the Zoom Windows desktop application. Thus, by using the Ring Central Personal Meeting ID EVERY SINGLE MEETING PARTICIPANT MUST INSTALL THE RING CENTRAL MEETING APPLICATION even if they already have the Zoom meeting application installed.

This is unacceptable because it is ridiculous to install Ring Central Meetings when it actually runs zoom meetings that work fine using the (better) zoom application.

Please ask the developers to fix this issue ASP

Hi Gregg,

Even though RingCentral Meetings is powered by Zoom, it is still a different platform and honestly, I'm surprised that any RingCentral Meeting ID would work on the Zoom program. Below is some information as to why the Personal Meeting IDs do not work - to give you some background: 

We have different databases that generate andstore unique meetings IDs, so it would not be possible for them to work due toa possibility of a conflict.

Well, I can't call it "unacceptable" to support an off-brand client. I would add that there is a Linux version of Zoom and not RingCentral, so the Linux users, a considerable number of developers at our company, install Zoom instead to join our RingCentral calls, and thus face this problem. This problem would be solved either by sharing personal IDs, getting Zoom to support RingCentral calls, or just white labeling the linux client too.
