GLIP Compliance Exports

I have customers (e.g. in the Financial Services industry) whose regulatory and/or compliance requirements prevent them from using external messaging tools (such as GLIP) unless they can maintain a full audit trail.

Manual exports are insufficient as they rely on a person (i.e. us) to click a button - i.e. we could decide not to, or forget, or what have you.

Even if they WOULD accept the manual route (for example if I gave their HR or Compliance person the ability to do exports) - then my other clients' data would be exposed.  We are "multi-tenant" by nature, and there appears to be no way to limit export ability to just selective teams and/or users.

The only way I can leverage GLIP with clients like this, is if we can give them access to all activity from their users and/or authorized teams, and ONLY from their users and/or authorized teams.  Doing so in an automated fashion would be the icing on the cake: most would simply tell me to pound sand if I try to add a new recurring manual task to their workflow, or if I tell them to just trust that we won't forget to click the button.

Any hope for resolve here?  The tool is great, but basically none of my Enterprise-class users will have anything to do with it unless we resolve the compliance / audit issues.

Do you think the Auto Archiving option may address this need?

I'm not sure.  Where can I see/change settings for this in glip?

Hmm.  After looking closer, not sure it will help you.  It is located in the admin portal.  Requires Premium or better.  It archives Recordings/Voicemails/SMS.
