Glip should sync both ways from your calendar. Not just from Glip cal to your work calendar.

2-way sync with Google Calendar in particular for me.  It also only updates every 24 hours it seems, so not very useful as it is unless you plan to make Glip your primary, main calendar and I don't think many people want that.

i was starting to use it as my primary and now i regret it.  the sync with outlook (glip to outlook only) is now not working so now I can't see my events in my synced calendar on my phone.  (I already opened a ticket for this and they say they are working on the know problem). i have to separately open up the Glip app on my phone and view those events stand alone.  I still have other events on my other calendars so i need both.  with Glip/Outlook one way sync breaking ... i don't even know if I can trust Glip anymore with my events.  It's too important for me to chance losing them!  I don't know what I'm going to do.

2-way sync with Office 365 Calendar would be a MAJOR help.

@Glip Hello. I just found out about your app and signed up. How do I have my Google calendar show up on the calendar? Thanks!

Short answer is that you can't do that at this time. The Glip calendar can show up on your Google calendar but it is read only at this time. As you can see from other posts in this topic, it has been requested before.

Please vote for it in the upper right hand corner if you haven't done so already.

Hi All - Good news! We are working on providing a way to see your O365 calendar (and eventually Google Calendar as well) in Glip, and to be able to create events in Glip that appear in your calendar. I'd love to hear more from folks here on exactly what they'd like to accomplish with this ask - are you interested in seeing your personal calendar in Glip? The reason I ask, is that the Glip Calendar is a bit of a 'Team Calendar', associated with teams in the application. Whereas your personal calendar is a bit different - it is more, well, 'personal'. Any thoughts you can share is helpful as we work on this feature. Thanks!

Currently you can choose who can see your calendar and who can't so it shouldn't be a problem with keeping your personal calendar personal, should it?  By only sharing it with yourself?

I can't speak to O365 since I use GSuite, but I think Glip should support multiple calendars and multiple accounts.  Under my work email I have several different calendars I might like to include or exclude from a Glip 2-way sync and in addition I have a personal Gmail account I might like to be able to include as well.  I could also imagine use cases where people have both O365 and Gmail so being able to include multiple accounts as well as multiple calendars for each account would be ideal.

I would like to be able to sync each of my calendars with the ability to list the contents of the calendar event for all to see, or to have it show simply as BUSY. This way Glip could be the team calendar and we would avoid the issue of having to exit it to see when we can actually schedule events. If it could also integrate with iOS that would be wonderful as many employees use their iPhone for personal events and this would avoid scheduling conflicts and constant rescheduling. Thank you.

what about the people in the universe that dont use Office 365 or Google?  There are many of us.       You just need to add the ability for GLIP to subscribe to any ICAL service.

What will be particulary useful is for us to be able to subsribe to a local Public Holiday calendar service. most countries have these.
Would LOVE to have this!

Correct. I am pretty certain this is being worked on currently though.  I would expect calendar and contact sync with O365 and GSuite this year, but that is only a guess on my part.  Maybe someone at RC can give a formal update of if this is on the roadmap.

I too am looking forward to a two-way integration with outlook and glip calendar. I think you should be able to choose the outlook calendar you want to integrate so that if you have a personal calendar it can remain separate from a work related calendar.

As best I can tell, Glip only permits syncing of the Default Team Calendar to 3rd party calendar apps.     My workplace doesnt want that, we want to be able to choose which calendars to sync,  for me I only want to share my private calendar (or events I created).
need to have Glip calendar sync with Google Calendar

Is there any update on this, this is really important for our organization and just seems like it should have been done in the initial build.

Hi all! After September 13th, you will see the ability to connect your O365 or Google calendar to the RingCentral app under Preferences :)

I am so frustrated.  You are saying this is working but I can't get my RC calendar to sync with any other calendar.  Not Outlook, Not Google.  I am so frustrated.  I have all of these events and appointments in my RC calendar and can't view this on my phone when I am away from my computer.  This is beyond ridiculous.

I have already done this.  I copy the URL into the Outlook, O365, and Google calendar and it shows as an available linked calendar, BUT NO EVENTS show up even though there are PLENTY in the RC calendar so the SYNC is not working.

I have already contacted support and they are telling me it's a known issue and there is nothing they can do for me?  REALLY??  Are you having an issue?  Does your's sync?  I have a feeling that there are others that are not having the issue (otherwise, why wouldn't EVERYONE be complaining) so how can they tell me that they can't help?

Hi Shelly,

I just checked with our Technical Support Team and this is currently a known issue. Since you have created a case, you will be notified once it will be resolved.

Just give up, Ring Central and Glip are both huge pieces of crap that will never work. Drop the product and go with something else. If you're using O365 start using Teams, its lightyears ahead of this junk.

we don't have a subscription with O365 Teams :( I am just going to have to move ALL OF MY APPOINTMENTS and EVENTS to another calendar and forget about GLIP.  This is so frustrating....I do not have time for this??? I knew I shouldn't have trusted the app.

Unless you're using a personal, home, or student subscription (which you absolutely should not if it's for a business) then Teams is included with your subscription.  Teams is being rolled out to the personal and family subscriptions right now.

Like I said above though, Glip is a useless product with no support and really should be removed from the market.  The developers have no idea how to create a collaboration app and should really look into a different line of work.

September 13th has come and gone and Google calendar still doesn't sync properly.  When adding an event to the Glip calendar it only shows up in the Google calendar if I remove and add the calendar again.  Is there a new date when this would be happening?

Hey Ronald, sounds like something may be broken. I would suggest opening a case with the Tech Support Team so that they can gather logs
