RingCentral Global Office provides a single phone system to companies that have offices around the world. This phone system is cloud-based and can be used on desk phones, desktop apps as well as mobile apps, streamlining the phone system management across your international branch offices.
Global Office (GO) is ideal for companies that have a physical office location in other countries. A GO number can only be assigned to a digital line on a user's extension.
International Virtual Number (IVN) is ideal for company that just want to have a local presence but not a local office (using IVN as a caller ID and route all local incoming calls to U.S.)
What is the difference between an International Virtual Number and a Global Office number?
- An international number serves as a caller ID to give you a virtual local presence when you do not have a physical office location in the country. All incoming calls to an international number will be routed to an extension in your home country.
- Global Office extends your RingCentral cloud communications solution to your global workforce. Your colleagues in international locations have local numbers and included local calling plans and emergency services so they can easily make and receive calls and host online meetings with the same quality communications services.
