Hi All,

I found a bit of a nuisance when using the conferencing feature in the Google Chrome Extension. In one of the latest updates, I noticed when creating a new conference, I now have a Join as Host button at the bottom. The problem here, is that when I click that button, it will connect me immediately to the conference, and it still asks for my host or participant access code.

The way it appears, you'd think it would automatically join you to the call as the host, but instead, it basically just calls the dial in number and then you have to enter your host access code. The nuisance part, is that after you click the button, you cannot go back to see your access code. Having to write it down before joining, and then entering it, to me defeats the purpose of having a join as host button. Functionally, it is more of a "hide access code and call in" button.

It would be really nice to click a join as host button and have it do just that, you click, it dials, and it knows that you are the host. There is no convenience here if you are having to remember or write your codes down for every conference.

Also, can we add a Chrome extension category to the new conversation form? :)
