help with active call

If I have an active call through the mobile app then switch to carrier does that call stay as an active call with RingCenteral or does it switch to just my cell carrier? Trying to get around the 4 hour call limit while trying to reschedule guests during Hurricane Irma. Keep getting disconnected from vendors after holding for 4 hours

Hello Hardy,

The call will still stay on the RingCentral network. However, we can increase the 4 hour limit for your whole account. How many hours would be best for an active call? Would 8 be sufficient?
