Hide Number From Contacts in RingCentral App/Contact List- not the dial by name directory only

There are some numbers that have a call tree implemented ahead, and we do not want users to have the direct number to the final line.  However, once a line is assigned to a phone, it shows in the company directory/contacts in Ring Central Mobile app, etc.  There really should be a way to hide certain numbers.

Hello David!

All numbers are visible in our Company Directory. Unfortunately, we don’t have a way to hide the numbers as of the moment.

If this feature will be available, we will update this thread.

Thanks for the awesome idea!

USA-based acct | 2287 Users | 3800 DID lines | 28 sites | all Polycom VVX500 phone handsets

We hide all courtesy phones from the Directory.

We have about 3800 DID lines, we have 2287 Users and we only display 1723 users in the Directory if you look below the step 3 in our diagram it shows how many users are displayed in Directory.

This is only for the dial by name directory.  To my knowledge, that is not for all other ways ring central pushes out contact information (ring central mobile app, computer app, etc.)

So this is possible, but maybe not available depending on the account type I.e. MyAccountType Vs. CecileAccountType Vs. YourAccoutType and seems to have different behavior per RCApp type.

Oh Joy.
