I just work it with tech support and found out that there is no way to keep the CallerID once been parked into the "park location". He also suggest me to post here for vote. I think this should be one of the native information there and basic request, right?

Hey Joseph,

Could you provide more information? What is the behavior that's occurring and what are you expecting?

I setup about 5 Park Location ext# for my operator to temporary park incoming calls (like 5 buffer spaces) when she were busy so she can pick them up under her control. The next question is to regain the original CallerID information to show on her phone so she can redirect it to the proper Sales people that we have (According the CallerID or Area code). We found out that original CallerID was different after we pick up from the park location extension. FYI.

Hey Joseph,

Could you please clarify as to where you are losing the Caller ID?

Is it happening once you retrieve the call from the parked line (no transfer)? Or is it happening after you've retrieved the call and then once transferred, the caller ID doesn't display?

I was able to test;  When I put an incoming call in a Park Zone (via a Presence key) and retrieve it, the Caller ID (phone number) is displayed.  However, if I manually park (via*801-899) the CLID is not.

Thanks Danno.

I've changed this post to a feature request.

I have a slightly different problem, but I guess it is related. I also have several Park locations. When the calls came in - the caller ID was retained after the call was put on one of the park lines. You would press Park location and the CID number would be displayed. I use Polycoms VVX 440. About a week ago - this normal behavior changed to NOT displaying CID anymore, but instead shows some generic number which is assigned to each of my park locations. I noticed that each Park line has its own number (area code 218). Again, we did not reconfigure anything in the system, and this started about a week ago.Extremely annoying, especially knowing that it worked fine before.

This is a frustrating loss of functionality!  This was working fine a few days ago!
