There's not a simple print function available, but, depending on the format you want, you might consider the DropBox feature, then export, or print from DropBox.

I would like to be able to view a report as well, I send 15000 messages a month to over 100 Doctors, I charge them per message sent. At midnight every night I have to click on each Doctor and hit delete all to see how many messages we sent them all day. I have been doing this for months. Just this last week I discovered that not all of my messages I sent always show up. I was missing messages and I was able to find them on my mobile app. Therefor I have just discovered that I have possibly lost thousands of billable dollars that I surely can not ask for now. I opened a support ticket last Sunday with two contradicting screen shots showing that messages were missing. Than this morning for the system to completely be down was ridiculous.

We would love to be able to provide analytics to the partners on the users inbound/outbound sms texts (counts) at the very minimum. I am not sure if people will find this idea topic but it is definitely a necessity with so much business being conducted via messaging now a days.

I have been asking for this as well, we are an answering service for 130 doctors and sometimes there is a discrepancy in the calls that we page out and I never have the proof.

I would love to get a report on the numbers of SMS text both inbound and outbound. Both a high level report and details on the interactions. This has become a more valuable communication method for most companies over both phone and email. Lack of functionality here could mean we would have switch to another provider.

Need to document all communications with clients on our company tracking software. The SMS texts sent through the Mobile app should be tracked so transferring them to a send able file, accessing them, through the website, some way of saving these vital customer conversations is necessary. As a team we need to be able to see what is happening in any client communications to be able to address their needs, especially if someone is out sick. Right now they are captive on my phone. Heaven forbid it gets stolen, lost, wiped! What back up would we have?

Anyone know if they have added this feature yet? ..To run a SMS Message Log on users, similar to their call log. We have recruiters who send out hundreds of texts messages daily via the google chrome add-on and no way to track if they really preformed this or not. As well as texts automatically deleting themselves a week or so later with no way to retrieve the conversation.

Feature Request prioritization is a bit complicated....unfortunately. The more votes the better but there's no "set" number. We send regular reports to our Product Team of the Feature Requests on the Community - it's up to them to implement them.

I would really like to see a report on inbound/outbound text messages. I'm trying to gauge traffic volume, whether clients or employees are texting, determine nature of calls, whether more training needs to be done for employees, resetting of expectations of clients needs to be done, and then have objective data to determine how involved my after hours employees need to be so I can fairly compensate them. At this point, it's somewhat of a shot in the dark. Thanks for your help and hope to hear from RC soon!

At the very least there should be a report that would show a number of incoming & outgoing text messages for a specific time period. I would like to show our management team how important the SMS tool is for our business. But, I can't do this without having numbers to back it up.

As I and others have asked before, it would be so helpful to see where in the feature request cycle a FR is. The status system of the community explicitly supports this. It should be used.

I've shared this (along with other Report related requests) with the specific Product Manager who is managing Reporting Features. In fact, that team is looking for some feedback regarding Reports right now :) But this is not on the roadmap that I know of.
We do our best to update the Status of requests when we learn anything about them. Under Consideration means that it is being considered but no ETA quite yet. Planned means it has made it to the roadmap (sometimes we have a hard ETA but usually we have an estimated time frame).

Thanks, Saadet. My point was that this FR is 2+ years old and is not shown as "under consideration" which to me means it has never been looked at by the PM who manages Reporting Features.

I have been asking for this option for a year. We are a requiting firm that uses sms just as much as phone calling. Because this option is not available, we are looking at changing providers when our contract is up. I hope they add it soon.

Our firm has disabled SMS because it's a compliance issue. We need a way to export SMS messages. The only way this seems possible is to write a custom app to query their SMS API. Would be great to have something off the shelf. Checked Workato and Zapier. Nothing pre-built, but will attempt some custom recipes.

Found RC Archiver Box beta. May work better for us. Does fax as well. Would be great if enforceable though. This conversation may be worth checking out.

iPlum (iplum.com) offers SMS (text) message logging and archiving now instead of considering adding it as a feature for 2 years like RC is still doing. It is so obvious just by reading this thread that customers need this feature...and needed it long ago. Have been a RC customer for almost 2 years and started seriously consider leaving after about the 4th week. My experience is they were super attentive until we signed up and now I can't even get our account manager to return e-mails. Iplum on the other hand has been super responsive to us, a tiny customer and even implemented a feature that was a deal breaker for us within two weeks of making the request. Can't wait till we can completely move over to Iplum and leave RC.

Still no way for audits and exporting of SMS available. At this point I don't think they can even do it. My company is already looking at other providers that will give us the ability to document all the activity on the phone system.

We are building our own messaging tool that includes reports of all SMS incoming and outgoing from RC numbers. I will post back here when we have it working. Estimating approx 2 to 3 weeks.

Are you referring to the log report, as in your subsequent post? If so, the log report does not identify the phone numbers for text messages (sent or received). It is limited to voice and fax calls.
