How do I assign an email to our second fax number so it goes to another user?

I purchased an additional fax number from RingCentral, but I am not sure how to make faxes sent to that number go to an email address other than the emails assigned to the original fax number. Can you tell me what to do?

The end result is that bids are faxed to one number, and job applications are faxed to another number, and each ends up in separate email inboxes.

Simple, just create a Virtual extension for the second Fax number, point the second fax number to this extension, then put the E-mail you want it to go in that extension notification E-Mail field

Turn off items not relevant like Music on hold, voice mail and connect greeting for this extension.  This is a standard setup I do for customers.

I am assuming you are on a office plan and not just a Fax plan.

I actually am on a fax-only plan. Is it not possible to do the same?

Hello Jonathan,
If you have a fax only account, there is only one entry for notifications. If you would like to direct faxes on your second number to an alternate email address, that would require an account service plan change so that you can create separate users. That would allow you to direct incoming faxes on your second number to a different user which in turn would be assigned the email address you want faxes to be sent to under its notifications settings.
