Admin: How do I swap out a phone?

Question: How do I swap out a device with another unassigned phone that is already on the account without changing the number? 

Answer: Go to Phones & Devices. Find the user and select "Change Phone".  

                                         






Finally, reboot the phone.

When I try the above method, I don't see the "Unassigned Phones" list.  All I see is the "User Phones" list.  I definitely have an unassigned phone in the account.  Not sure what to do.

When you search for the SN that you want, is it on the account?

I'm not sure I follow you, as there is no search option in the "Change Phone" area.  Here's a couple of screenshots showing what I see.  Note:  I have received and unpacked the unassigned phone.

The devices still says "check status" so the system still thinks it is in shipping. The first thing you want to do after receiving a newly ordered phone is to plug it in so it can register with our system! :-) Once it comes online, refresh the web browser and the option should show up.  Try that and you should be able to swap out the devices!
