How do I UNSUBSCRIBE or STOP "short code" spam messages through Ring Central?

We have 4 phone lines in our office through RC and keep receiving texts from "Short Code" spam phone numbers. If we reply to "STOP" or unsubscribe, then we get an error message that message is not sent, recipient extension is not found.

I am located in the US/Texas using desktop app version 10.0.1.30477 and the most recent app on my iPhone 6S+.

How do I stop these incoming messages? Why can't we reply to short codes? My only option so far has been trying to block the number but that still doesn't work.

Same problem here. The messages I receive specifically say to reply "STOP" if you don't want to receive any more. But RingCentral doesn't work. Why not?

If responding isn't an option, at least we should be able to block those.
