in provisioning 3rd party phones?
08-07-2017 We had 100 third party Polycom VVX500 phones when we switched to RingCentral in June 2016 and added (originally) another 1800 RC Polycom VVX500's purchased from RC during our phone system conversion to them as our provider. They provided us with the provisioning instructions and helped us troubleshoot a few of them that did not provision as expected. I agree with RC-Installer's comment above - they give it their best effort. They do want you to be successful using their system. Once your third party phones have successfully provisioned on the RingCentral system with the RC version of the firmware, you should experience great results. Our original pre-RC-Polycoms did very well and are still in use today. For future purchases - the advantage of buying additional handsets through RingCentral is that they are already pre-set to work with their network without a lot of extra gymnastics by the customer and they are FULLY supported by RingCentral Support.
