How to create a call log for a specified number

I would like to be able to create a call log for a number, or be able to search the entire call log for all calls to/from a number during a specified time frame.

This could be done today under reports or just exporting the data to Excel and sorting that way.

Unfortunately RC has stated that reports are not 100% accurate so if you need accurate information you should stick to the call log. It is very tedious to have do a data dump into excel and just filter it there but you are safer doing that than relying solely on the accuracy of the reports. We've had sales reps that make a certain number of calls per day and the report would say they made 2 calls all day when the call log for the same date would show 30/40 calls.
