How to Set or Change User Passwords

I am logged in as the Admin. I see the "Change Password" button on MY account page, but it is not available on other users pages.

I have been searching "set user passwords" but have not hit upon an answer. This is surely a basic question, but if someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I am sorry for your frustration COMICZ!!

Do you see this in the top right corner of your screen? It should be on "Admin Portal" and then you can go under "Users" and select the user who needs their password changed. Click on "User Details" and then on "Change Password".

Does that help?

Thank you for your quick response.

I am in the Admin Portal, and still do not see "Change Password" for users.

Some more information:

Users who have received the invitation and have logged in are still listed as "inactive". These users can access their accounts by clicking on the LOG IN button in the invitation email... But once they log out they have to enter a password... Which has not been assigned to them.

When I access a users computer to log in through the invitation email and try to find a way to set the password inside their account, there is also no CHANGE PASSWORD button.

So, perhaps there are deeper issues? All my lines are functioning. And users to whom I have sent invites are using the phones, fax service, and GLIP.

I should clarify that I have set up the account myself without the input of a sales agent or having any of my training calls yet... I just found an article saying that activation begins after the approval of the sales agent? (link to article)

Could this be why I cannot assign passwords?

Thanks again, Bill

The user HAS to be fully registered and activated (green check next to their username in the admin console), then you can change their password (this is assuming you have the super admin role for yourself).

Bill,

In the Admin Portal, select Users from the Main Menu. The select the user/extension you wish to change the password on. Near the bottom of the User Details/General section, there is a Change Password option. Just that simple. See my screen shot below.
